art made from the inside out

Original art and prints rooted in emotion, crafted with intention, and created to connect—primarily oil and acrylic paint, grayscale charcoal, and colored pencil.

Every canvas carries more than color and meets you where you are, weaving its story into yours. Each piece starts with me and lives on through you, bringing beauty, meaning, and perspective to your space.

Hi! My name is Jadyn—I’m a 25 year old self-taught artist, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember, but only recently began to call myself an artist. Somewhere along the way, I realized art isn’t about meeting a standard, but rather turning feeling into form. It lets us experience emotion without staying in it, to hold perspective for a moment and then let it go; it connects us to ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

My work is often born from honest moments of reflection. Each piece begins with me—my memories, my experiences, my quiet corner—and finds its meaning through the eyes of others. Sometimes my work reflects peace, other times chaos, but it always serves as a gentle reminder that feeling deeply, even when it’s messy, is what makes us human.

At this time, I work primarily with oil and acrylic paint, charcoal, and colored pencil, often drawn to realism, surrealism, and textured abstract. I have a love for subjects that carry presence—people, animals, and places that hold memory. Creating has become a way to capture what it feels like to simply be.

Every moment at my easel becomes its own kind of memory and clarity within myself. I hope my art meets you where you are and leaves you feeling seen, understood, or simply still for a moment. Thanks for being here, I hope you stay awhile! ♡

behind the art

More About the artist

why mediums matter?

Each piece I create is shaped by the materials that bring it to life. Whether through oil and acrylic paint, grayscale charcoal, or colored pencil, every medium carries its own rhythm and texture. Each choice is intentional—designed to reflect the inspiration behind the work and the story it tells.

  • Acrylics are where I let color take the lead—bold tones, textured brushstrokes, and layers that make the piece feel alive. Perfect for anyone who loves a vibrant, expressive look with modern detail.

  • Rich, timeless, and deeply realistic. Each oil painting is created through a process of intentional layers and blending to capture lifelike light, emotion, and personality in every brushstroke.

  • Raw, dramatic, and full of depth. My charcoal work focuses on contrast and emotion, creating striking grayscale pieces that feel both classic and powerful.

  • Soft, detailed and full of color. Colored pencil pieces offer delicate realism with handmade charm, perfect for capturing gentle textures like grass, fur, and skin tone.

art doesn’t live on the canvas.

it lives in the eyes that meet it.

  • I hear ya! Original art can come with a hefty price tag, but every piece of art is more than what meets the eye—Originals are created by hand, taking anywhere from hours to weeks to complete. Pricing reflects not just the finished product, but the materials, time, creative expertise, and years of learning how to turn a vision into something tangible. Purchasing original art is not for everyone, and that’s okay, but the price I value my work at is non-negotiable.

  • Pricing depends on various factors for each piece. Originals are priced based on the size, time, materials, complexity, and the full creative process, while prints are scaled for accessibility. Custom commissions are quoted individually and a price is set before I begin your piece.

  • All artwork—originals and prints—are protected by copyright. Reproduction, resale, or commercial use is prohibited without written permission. Purchasing a piece does not transfer ownership of the image rights, only the physical artwork itself. If you’re interested in licensing an image for branding, editorial, or design purposes, please reach out through the contact form to discuss usage terms.
